Terms And Conditions

This agreement, constituting the terms and conditions between you and Romford Minicabs, comes into effect upon booking a taxi and utilizing our services, signifying your unconditional acceptance of the terms outlined herein.

1. Definitions

References to Romford Minicabs as "we" or "us" pertain to the service provider, while "you" and "your" may denote any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

2. Booking

2.1 It is imperative to allocate sufficient time for your journey, especially for airport transfers with specific check-in times. We disclaim responsibility for delays resulting from your failure to allocate ample time or your unpreparedness at the designated collection time.

2.2 You are responsible for booking a car of suitable size for passengers and luggage, with no guarantee of carrying excessive luggage. Child passengers, regardless of age, are considered a single passenger.

2.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be made at the time of booking.

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 Our quote, based on the information you provide, excludes VAT unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to adjust the quote for material changes to the itinerary.

3.2 The quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the landing time and airport parking costs. Exceeding this waiting time incurs standard waiting rates. While we aim to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Upon accepting our quote, review the booking confirmation for accuracy. Failure to notify us of discrepancies absolves Romford Minicabs of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.

3.4 Payment can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.

4. The Service

4.1 You are accountable for the behavior of all passengers during the journey. Charges may apply for cleaning costs if the vehicle is soiled, damaged, or negatively impacted by passengers.

4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking in the car is prohibited.

4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.

4.4 We must not exceed the specified passenger limit per licensing or insurance.

5. Cancellations

5.1 Promptly notify us of cancellations to avoid charges. Cancellation charges are based on the time and distance covered by the driver up to the cancellation point.

5.2 Online booking cancellations may incur charges on the original payment.

6. Liability

6.1 While we strive for punctuality, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. Romford Minicabs is not responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business.

6.2 Luggage is carried at your own risk.

6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to provide an alternative car for a prompt continuation of your journey.

6.4 You indemnify Romford Minicabs from expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from any omission or act by anyone in your party.

6.5 Parties cannot exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or wilful default, or for any other matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

7. Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or reject a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is jeopardized by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 Romford Minicabs may subcontract obligations under this agreement, while you may not assign, delegate, or transfer any rights or obligations.

8.2 Terms and conditions may be altered by Romford Minicabs, with changes reflected on this page. Regularly review these terms for awareness. Existing bookings will be honored at rates in effect during booking.

8.3 Information is processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement constitutes the complete understanding between Romford Minicabs and you.

8.5 No third party holds rights under this agreement unless specified in writing.

9. Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be raised within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims beyond this timeframe will not be entertained by Romford Minicabs.
